Our next meeting will be a Farm Tour on  
Saturday July 7th
 starting in the afternoon followed by a cookout.

May 10th Meeting Notes

-- Our guest speaker for the night was Andy Cruse with Novartis.  We thank him for volunteering his time as well as sponsoring the meal for the night.

--Discussions for the night consisted of the following......

We welcomed Lee and Stacy Stremsterfer, Lincoln Land Beef Group, in offically joining the HBA.  They will combine there group money with ours to allow us to expand our members as well as provide other beef activities throughout the year! 

--A committee report was given by Kerianne Short on the upcoming Livestock Judging contest.  The committee will be meeting Thursday May 17th to finalize details which will be passed on through e-mail to members.

--Activities were discussed for county fairs as well as "A Day in the Country" to educate Urban families on the beef industry. 

--Other items to keep in mind were the
IBA Summer Conference (June 20-22nd)

YPC Meeting and Baseball game (June 22nd)
